A prostration of Gratitude After a Blessing
When good news or new provision reaches you, retreat in solitude and bow in prostration to Allah in gratitude.
Allah says: ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you.’ [Ibrahim 14:7]. The Prophet ﷺ also said that the believer’s affair is amazing: if good reaches him, he is grateful; and if hardship reaches him, he is patient. [Sahih Muslim 2999].
